The Deposit Guarantee Scheme (DGS) for Sint Maarten was formally introduced on August 14, 2026, with the publication of the national decree on the Deposit Guarantee Scheme and the ministerial regulation on the Deposit Guarantee Scheme. The DGS for Sint Maarten will enter into effect on September 28, 2026.
